PROJECT AREA

The project area is located generally within downtown Attleboro along the Ten Mile River between Water Street to the north and Olive Street to the south. Historic development patterns concentrated development along the river, with many buildings located at or very near the river’s edge and many more located within the flood zone. Development is dense with a mix of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. There is also a mix of historic buildings and structures and new infill development and redevelopment. Plans are underway for transit-oriented development with new housing development around the MBTA commuter rail station.
